HOW TO DISCOVER YOUR DESTINY

1.      The God Factor

You don’t decide your destiny. God has decided it for you already. I challenge you to begin discovering your destiny today through God’s word. Every person on earth was created for a specific and unique reason. However, it is up to each of us to seek God and ask him to unlock the mystery behind our existence.

The Lord knows the end of every man from the beginning like an open book. God has charted a path for all mankind and he alone knowns the way to get  on that path and finally to the destiny. One then has to get to him to catch a glimpse  of what HE wrote on the book.

it is the manufacturer that decides the purpose of their product, not the product. It is also the products manual that direct how the product should be operated. Failure to follow the manual correctly, leads to frustration, as you wouldn’t be able to operate it successfully. God is your manufacturer, so he decided what you will be (your destiny) before you were born.

2.      Discover your Abilities and Talent

Talent is defined as a special ability and strength. Oxford advanced learner’s dictionary puts it this way: “a natural ability to do something well.” “Each person can do something better than 10,000 other people, the key to success is for individuals to discover what that something is, and then do.

What makes you unique? What activities brings you joy? What are the areas you excel in? Proverbs 18:16 says, “the gift of a man makes room for him, and brings him before great men.” Your gifts, talents and abilities help to define your destiny.

3.      What do you Like to do? Do you Like to Play chess? Create music? Design things? Are you a book worm? Do you enjoy baking? Do you like watching attorneys litigate? Do you like to teach or train people? Identify the things you like doing. You should be able to Identify the financial benefits involved but because of the innate joy, and sense of fulfillment you derive in doing them.

5.      Go to God in prayers. Earnestly seek God asking him for           revelation for your existence on the planet earth.

6.      Inquire from those closest to you like friends, colleagues and    spouse etc to identify your qualities and strength. Sometimes        those closest to us have more insight and information into our         destiny, than we do.

7.      Make a list of the things you are passionate about. Sometimes we do think that our destiny is far from us but  in actuality it is          right in front of us. Passion is power, passion means deep   feeling, passion means an inner push that cannot be stopped    by any external resistance.

          Passion is a burning desire for something,

          Passion could be business, Ministry, Politics, Entertainment,     Fashion, Sports etc.
